This May I’m joining Zoe at ‘So, Zo…’ in a challenge to wear something handmade every day for thirty-one days. This post marks the beginning of the saga.
I, Amy of Sew Well, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’12. I endeavour to wear something handmade each day for the duration of May 2012.
I enjoyed Self-Stitched September last year, and I’m eager to see how different this coming handmade month will be with eight more months of sewing under my belt. Last time I had to really think out my outfits, and I imagine this time will be much of the same. Also, last time I got a little burnt out taking photos every day and posting every third or fourth day (hence the five blog posts total in October last year), so we’ll see whether I can find a way to make that easier on myself this time around.
Who else is in?!
P.S. I updated my last post, but just in case some of you didn’t see, the biopsy confirmed that the mass was a benign fibroadenoma. All’s well. (Whew.)

Glad to hear the good news! I am also doing MMM12. I make a weekly collage of my outfits and post once per week. I only do an extra post if I create something new.

Thanks! I didn’t realize how much it was weighing on me until after I got the good news. It’s been quite a nice week since then.
I’m fairly new to your blog but still glad to hear you have the all clear – the big ‘C’ scares are very traumatic which ever way they end. The MMM12 sound very interesting – not sure I have enough of my own handmade clothes (that’ll teach me for making more for others than myself) but I’ll give it a go 🙂
Good for you for making things for others! Back before I took on this SWAP, I’d made a decent number of things for others. I feel like the SWAP has made me really selfish, but it’s also likely going to make my MMM efforts more creative!
