This February I’m sewing along with Male Pattern Boldness and a bunch of other talented seamsters. We’re all making men’s shirts. Mine is for my husband, and here’s a reflection on my efforts to sew well.

After posting the last photos of my husband in his Sew-Along muslin to the Sew-Along Flickr group, those more experienced suggested I might need to make a square-shoulder adjustment but that I should take a few more (wrinkle-free!) photos just to be sure.

Now for the T shots.

Does the shoulder start where it’s supposed to? I’m now beginning to think the shirt is a bit too wide. I’m going to post these pictures to the Sew-Along group again, and we’ll see what the experts think.
