Sewing

Pushed to the side: Jeans

Over the past two weeks, Peter at Male Pattern Boldness has made two fabulous pairs of white jeans during the MPB Jeans Sew-Along, and now his Sew-Along has come to a close.

In the same amount of time, I only managed to trace my pattern and prewash my denim. I just couldn’t bring myself to cut into the fabric when I had so much else going on: a trench coat that still needs buttons, a skirt that’s slowly progressing day by day, another skirt that was waiting for a hem, and a sleeping quilt for a camping trip this coming weekend. Jeans and pants are still in my plans for the summer, so you will be seeing them eventually, but I am sorry I wasn’t able to sew at least one pair along with Peter.
