This September I’m joining Zoe at ‘So, Zo…’ in a challenge to wear something handmade every day for thirty days. This post marks the second update of my progress.

What: Refashioned Sorbetto Blouse
Where: To work and around the house. The bit of sickness that I’d been feeling blossomed into a full-on cold, so rest, recovery, and relaxation are the words of the day.

What: A self-silk-screened shirt: rockin’ out with Tricky in black on a light purple T shirt
Where: Through another day of sick, which included a morning and afternoon at work and an evening finishing my colorful pleated skirt.

What: The Secret Garden Pleated Skirt
Where: To work. I secretly took an iPhone photo at my desk at work for the Wednesday weekly theme. Today’s motto: look better to feel better. I think I’m finally on the mend.

What: A self-silk-screened shirt: a dog in white on a brown T shirt
Where: To work. And, here, staring at our fish tank. I was hoping to keep my screened Ts down to one an update, but this morning was a bit of a rush. Notice I’m even wearing the same sweater from yesterday. I do like its big brown buttons with this particular shirt though. Something about the combo with the dog makes me happy.
I love that Sorbetto blouse!
I’m loving all of your silk screened tees! Do you have one of those little kits…the name has completely escaped me, but I think they were discontinued a year or two ago.
No, during graduate school I had access to a silk-screening room, and since the shirts were cheap, the paint was free, and the labor was fun, I made quite a lot of T shirts.
