This September I’m joining Zoe at ‘So, Zo…’ in a challenge to wear something handmade every day for thirty days. This post marks the seventh update of my progress.

What: The Black-and-White Satin Organza Crescent Skirt
Where: Around town on a lovely Saturday. This skirt is another repeat (see September 10th), but I wore my shirt tucked in this time, which I like better since it shows off the well-designed waistband (not that you can tell from this photo!).

What: The Angelic Gown
Where: To church for a baptism and then a party in celebration. Today I had another stand-in: my baby niece. It was a big day for her, and I was thrilled to have made her this special dress.

What: A self-silk-screened shirt: the male warrior from the game Gauntlet in teal on a maroon T shirt
Where: To a long day of work. Good long, but long all the same.

What: Gray Armani Jacket
Where: To work. Even though I realized almost as soon as I left the house that it was too warm of a day for a coat like this. It was nice to wear at my desk though, which always seems to be freezing regardless of what the temperature is outside. I’ve worn this coat before this month (see September 15th), but the novelty here is the obligatory bathroom-at-work shot.
