I know this blog is all about sewing, but it’s hard to write merrily on about projects when my family has been hit by tragedy this week. One of my relatives was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and surgery is imminent. A kind thought or simple prayer would be greatly appreciated in this trying time. From my family to yours, thank you.

I lurk on your blog for the sewing projects but I had to comment on this post. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the spring of 2010. I was 9 months pregnant. With excellent doctors and the support of those around us, we survived those harrowing weeks and months and 20 months later, we have a gorgeous daughter and every MRI since has come back clean. I will continue to hope for the best outcome possible for your relative.
