A Father Christmas Pillow

This holiday season I sewed along with Tilly of Tilly and the Buttons and a bunch of other talented seamsters in the Crafty Christmas Club. We all made gifts for our family and friends, and, now that the gifts have been opened, here’s a reflection on my efforts to sew well.

This little Father Christmas pillow perfectly sized for my niece was super easy to make.  The pattern was printed right on the fabric, so all I had to do was cut, sew, and stuff.  If only garments came preprinted like this!  Spoonflower, perhaps?

  1. Darling! These remind me so much of when I was young and there was much more pre-printed fabric to be found. What a great idea! A definite Spoonflower must.

  2. So cute! Like Sunni, this brings me back to my mom’s sewing room, and her trying to teach me to sew using kits. Pre-printed fabric for garments… how cool would that be?!
