Mood just had a 15% off sale, Tessuti is having a 20% off sale, Gorgeous Fabrics is having a 25% off sale, and now Fine Fabrics is having a 50% off sale. What is going on?! Though I don’t have room for more fabric, I couldn’t help but succumb to an offer of 50% off. I needed fabric for Susan Khalje’s The Couture Dress class, right? Right?
Actually, who cares! It’s 50% off!!
I got just enough of some crazy cool Armani black and white check, some cotton batiste underlining, and some silk crepe de chine lining to eek out Vogue V8648 for the Couture Dress class.
Now I just need to stop day dreaming about the Tessuti Awards and taking advantage of their sale. I might have already picked out my fabrics and sketched out my entry.

LOL! I’m starting to dread when a holiday occurs because all of the online fabric sites start to pull out their best sales and I have NO will power and end up purchasing more fabric! So I understand!

That Armani is pretty drool worthy. I am SO tempted to do the Tessuti too but I have SO much on the go right now and I don’t think my pattern drafting is quite up to snuff yet. Sigh. Can’t wait to see your entry though!

Haha, I’ve noticed all these too! My willpower also wanes, especially when I have less time to sew and looking at fabric just takes its place!

beautiful fabric! oh man! fabric sales are just so tempting! I’ve also been seriously thinking about the tessuti awards – but i think i might need to have a reality check with myself and realize that this year just may not be the year for me! can’t wait to see what you come up with!
